Mr. Jacques Putzeys

Jacques Putzeys, Co-founder and Managing Partner

Jacques Putzeys is a Monaco based consultant specialising in advisory work on corporate finance and financial markets. He is the former CEO and co-founder of Easdaq (now Nasdaq Europe).
At Easdaq he pioneered the creation of a first European cross border stock exchange and worked very closely with all the companies listed to help them through the huge task of their IPO and this between 1994 and 1999.
Before starting up and managing this pan-European stock exchange he was a commercial banker both in Brussels and New York. In New York he started and subsequently managed the New York branch of FORTIS bank and in Brussels he was President of Bank Nagelmaeckers.

He started his career with KPMG in the audit department and has a degree in Business administration from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium.
 

Mr. Freddy Nurski

Freddy Nurski has more than 25 years experience in general management, consultancy, sales and account management in international service companies like Arthur Andersen Consulting, General Electric , ISS and S1 Corp.
He took on VP roles in several technology companies to integrate acquisitions and to operationalize alliances. He introduced internet and intranet technology, as well as a CRM supported international key account management programs.
This international experience has been acquired during his 13 years with technology company General Electric Information Services as Managing Director European Key Accounts and member of GE IS' European Executive Management team. He is a member of GE IS’ exclusive "10 Years President's Club " .

Freddy Nurski has a Master degree in Business administration from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium.
   

Mr. Hans Enocson

Hans Enocson, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland

Hans Enocson is based in Sweden and has more than 15 years experience in leading management positions at Pharmacia and General Electric.
Currently he is a partner at the leading Swedish consulting firm InterPares, where he is consolidating his 10 years experience in management consulting . Hans is the former CEO of GE Information Servicies Nordic, one of GE´s 12 business units, where he was responsible for the Nordic region and part of the European executive management team for 5 years. After GE Hans created BroadVision in Nordic and as a consultant he has assisted companies such as SurfKitchen, Selligent and a number of different clients with market entry / market penetration strategies for the Nordic countries.
Besides ITC, Hans also has extensive experience with medical devices/ diagnostics and Biotec.
He worked 10 years wiithin Pharmacia as Division manager and spent 2 years in the US as VP of Pharmacia Diagnostics, responsible for building a global business unit in HIV / Hepatitis. Hans
Enocson has a degree from the University of Stockholm and is a PED from IMD, Lausanne , Switzerland.
   

Mr. Patrick Corsi

Patrick Corsi is Managing Director of Brussels' based KINNSYS, an international innovation business consultancy company for emerging growth businesses.
He started his career with IBM in San Jose, California, and IBM France.
His experience of managing many European leading R&D teams positioned him as a Senior Project officer within the European Commission in Brussels through the 90's where he was monitoring Artificial Intelligence project portfolios and linking-up European venture capital organizations with start-up projects.
He currently is appointed as expert to the European Commission and serves as an Associate Professor at ISTIA Innovation, University of Angers and Laval, France, on innovation, marketing and virtual reality systems.
He is a permanent core member of the European Innovation Relay Centres Think Tank, 2003-2004, and an Executive Advisor to the European Multimedia Forum since 2003. Patrick is a graduate of Belgium's leading SOLVAY SME Business & Entrepreneurship School, 2003.
He has a Ph.D. from Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble in Génie Informatique in 1979.
   

Mr. John Cummins

John Cummins is a principal at UK-based BEST quarter sales & marketing consultancy, and he has over 20 years experience of senior roles in the high tech sector.
He thrives on new challenges, is extremely hands-on, with a reputation for driving new business for start ups through innovative techniques, getting results on time and on budget. He started his successful corporate career at BT where he served on several senior sales & marketing roles; Before founding his own business to deliver innovative services to a wider range of US and European vendors, he worked for Altos Computers, Acer and Wyse Technology. Clients include Egenera, Mosaic Software, Margi Systems, Stratus Technologies, Webridge, Psion, Webridge and BT.

John has a degree in communications engineering and is a chartered engineer (MIEE C.Eng). He is currently studying to be certified as a master practitioner in NLP.
   

Dr. Karl Gaston Lafaut

Through a mixed training as medical doctor and technologist Karl Gaston has been working as catalyst between clincians and technology groups both in R&D as well as in business development and sales.
Karl Gaston Lafaut holds a Master in Industrial sciences and a Medical Degree from the KU Leuven.
Prior to University he was an AFS exchange student in Michigan.
He entered in clinical practice both in a private office as well as in several hospitals in Belgium and the Netherlands and was  staff member at the Belgian National poison centre.
In '94 he started to engage in medical technology consulting and guided a series of companies in medical devices
through the European clinical scene :  to the right opinion leaders and medical device distributors.
(Pneumology, cardiovascular, diabetes, tissue engineering, custom implants, imaging, dental, communication, ....)
He acted as medical business development manager in an engineering groups as well as manager of  distribution
channels.
Good training has always been a credo for Karl Gaston, and in his carreer has always taken on personaly
the trainer of trainers role.
Dr Lafaut was lecturer at several bio-engineering and medical faculties and addressed numerous medical conferences.
Through the years he has built up a vast network of contacts in various clinical speciality and engineering groups both
academic and non-academic. Having continued to follow developments both in medical practice and in engineering he
is able to realize the right partnerships in development and testing and to bridgehead the communication between
the clinical and engineering  field.
Karl speaks 6 languages being able to address most Europeans in their own language.
 

Mr. Michel Danon

Michel Danon - France

Michel Danon works out of Paris but has spent more than 30 years working in France, the US and the UK, first for Corning, then for General Electric, in a number of general management, sales management and financial management positions.
Michel led the GE Information Services group in charge of the Southern European Transport Industry sales effort, then managed the France and Benelux affiliates before taking charge of the worldwide banking and financial services vertical industry group. Michel was then appointed VP for Broad Vision, a leading Internet software company, in charge of France and at the same time established and supported a distributor network in the eastern Mediterranean, the Middle East and India. building up a $ 20 million business from scratch. He has recently been carrying out assignments for Banca Intesa BCI in Milan, for Element N, for GDC Ltd and for GTS Ltd.

Michel has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from University College London, an MBA from Insead, and a second MBA from the Johnson School at Cornell University.
 

Mr. Maurizio Ammannato

Maurizio Ammannato has more than 30 years experience in the ICT market, covering sales, marketing, business development and consultancy positions in Italy and Europe.
After a few years in Honeywell Spa (computers) and ADP Network System (IT services) Maurizio spent 20 years in General Electric Information Services Company in Italy, France and UK addressing the Enterprises market with network based IT solutions. He then applied his experience into the Italian marketplace at companies like Albacom SpA, the leader carrier for voice/data/services specialized for enterprises market, EpicLink SpA, now Telecom Italia, who is the major ASP (Application Services Provider) in Italy with an internet based suite of applications.
While in GE, Maurizio won two exclusive Markmakers awards and participated to prestigious ”Advanced Marketing Management Seminar” course in Crotonville. Maurizio has an Engineering degree from “University of Rome”.
 

Mr. John Thorpe

John Thorpe is a partner at Emissario LLP and is based in London . He specializes in geographic expansion, joint ventures, acquisitions and trade sales for software products companies. He is an experienced CEO with a 25 year track record of growing IT and data communications businesses in Europe and the Middle East. He is a business graduate and was formerly President of GE’s $200M software and services business in Europe.
 
   

Mr. José Fraile

José M. Fraile is a consultant specialising in innovation management and business development based in Madrid. He was founding partner and Managing Director of Socratec GmbH, a Venture Capital-supported German start-up transport telematics company based in Regensburg (Germany). At Socratec he was responsible for all technological issues and product development strategies. Before founding and managing Socratec he worked for several years at Kayser-Threde GmbH, a Munich-based aerospace technology company, managing projects for customers such as the European Space Agency (ESA) and the German Aerospace Centre (DLR).
After obtaining his University M.Sc. degree in Math in 1989, he worked with a grant at the National Geodetic Institute in Copenhagen (Denmark) and as research associate at the Institute of Geodesy and Navigation of the University FAF Munich (Germany). José speaks Spanish, English, German and Danish.
 

   

Mrs. Okka Fraile

Okka Fraile Ordóñez is based in Madrid and European Business Development Manager of ibase Corp., a consulting company specialised in the implementation of internationalization strategies for its overseas and US customers.

She was the founder-manager of a telematics company in Europe. As Sales and Marketing Director of Socratec GmbH, a Venture Capital-supported German start-up transport telematics company based in Regensburg (Germany) she was responsible for the international business development of the company. Okka previously held positions at board level with two German leading SME’s . She is specialised in the internationalization of SMEs ranging from set up and management of sales channels to funding to licensing of technology. Prior to being specialised on SME internationalization, Okka worked in varying industrial international environments such as cosmetics, technical woven polyethylene products, convection steamer ovens and telecoms as well as for a Munich based consulting company specialised in mergers & acquisitions.

Okka has extensive travel experience in Europe, Middle East and Asia. She has been based in Germany prior to taking residence in Spain. Okka holds an MBA from the Henley-Management-College, Henley-on-Thames, U.K. and she is member of the Strategic Planning Society, London and Licensing Executives International, Germany. She speaks English, German, Spanish and some Danish. She is married and has two children.

   
Mr. Jochen Mebus

Jochen Mebus is based in Frankfurt,Germany.

 He currently works as Vice President Europe for Agentrics, the leading solution and service provider to the global retail industry. He has 15 years experience in various Sales. Account Management and Business Development roles at General Electric and GNX.               In these roles, he built a core competence for B2B e-Business software solutions and services that optimize core processes between trading partners. Jochen Mebus maintains a network of C-level contacts in many of the biggest European and in particular German retailers. He has also built a core expertise in the processes of using e-Business technology for purchasing optimization in retail as well as other vertical industries (e-Sourcing).

Jochen Mebus holds a Bachelor Degree in International Economics from International Business School in Lippstadt/Germany.

 

   

Mr. Robert Bolleter

Robert Bolleter is Managing Director of BOLLETER MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS, and is based in Switzerland. Robert has ten years of European technology business experience with local Legal Offices as well as a PanEuropean organisation of Accounting &Tax-offices.

He spent five years at Broadvision as VP Finance, Legal & General Services for EMEA. In this role, Robert co-launched the European operations building the business to US$ 100M in revenues that accounted for nearly 40% of worldwide revenues. He also spent five years at Oracle launching the Southern and Central Europe field operations in the position of Head of Finance. Prior to joining BroadVision, Robert Bolleter was Corporate CFO at Straumann, one of the world’s leading corporations in the area of dental implantology. Before that, he gained business experience in various industries, such as Asset Management and Fiduciary & Accounting firm.

Robert lives in Switzerland and speaks fluently German, English and French with some knowledge of Spanish.

After his degree at Business School in Zurich, Robert helds a degree in Accounting. Several post-degree educations at IMD Lausanne as well as Management & Business School at University St. Gall, Switzerland.

   

Mr. Juan Pedro F. de Losada

Juan Pedro de Losada is a senior consultant based in Spain, Barcelona, involved in the innovation cycles and marketing strategies in the ICT field. He also teaches Business Strategy at the Faculty of Economics and Business Studies of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and is author of a recent study about the structure of the ICT industry in Catalonia / Spain, under request of the local public administration.

He has a long experience in management positions in Spanish leading companies and in academic institutions in the ICT area, holds a broad know-how about the current structure of the Spanish market as well as the research network, and maintains an ample contact base in both fields. He was Member of the Board of Directors of the Olivetti Group in Spain and as Director General of a private Foundation, F2i – devoted to the promotion of the Information Society in Spain, covering training and research activities.

He has also participated in several EC RTD projects and has served as reviewer in EC Esprit and IST projects. He has also a special interest and knowledge about the Mediterranean area, with deep personal implication in several projects funded by the EC for international co-operation with Mediterranean Partner Countries for technology transfer. He has been a Member of the Board of Sedisi (former Spanish Information Technologies Association) and Founding Member of the former Eurobit (European IT Companies Association, now Eicta).

Mr. Losada holds a Degree in Law (Universidad de Barcelona) and in Business Administration (Harvard Business School – ITP 71), among other learning experiences in the US (University of Michigan – Ann Arbor and AMA – New York), UK, Germany and Italy, on technical and in business organisation issues, mainly in the ICT Field.

He speaks Spanish and Catalan, German, English and Italian.

   

Mr. Leon Dhaene

Leon Dhaene has over 20 years of senior management experience in global account management, business development and sales, performance optimisation and services development, at the multinational corporations MasterCard International, Europay International, Eurocard International and IBM.

His experience covers in particular the creation of multinational business alliances, commercial negotiations, managing mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and introducing new products and services to the market.

Leon Dhaene actively participated to the merger of Eurocard International, eurocheque International and the European Payment System Services into Europay International. He was also involved in the integration of Europay International in MasterCard International and in migrating MasterCard International from an Association to a SEC-controlled Shareholding Company . Together with Europay’s strategic global partner, MasterCard International, Leon Dhaene introduced a world-wide quality programme, called Global Performance Standards Programme, starting with 30 key banks in 8 European countries.

Leon Dhaene hold a Master of Contemporary History at the University of Ghent.
He published books and articles on historical, socio-economical and cultural subjects.
He speaks Dutch, English, French, German and Italian.

   

Drs. Hans Molenaar

Hans Molenaar has more than 15 years of experience in marketing management, sales, business development and account management in mainly international companies like AT&T, NCR and E-Banking solutions.

He has strong background in ICT, European Payment Systems and CRM. Hans is chairman since 2001 of the second largest marketing association (Platform Innovation in Marketing) in the Netherlands and also lecturer at the Beeckestijn Business School.

Hans Molenaar holds a Doctorandus degree in Business Administration at University of Tilburg. He is married, lives in the Netherlands and has four kids.
